IAHV Requests Community Support for Nirvana Heaven Old Age Home

The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) is calling on individuals and businesses to lend a helping hand to Nirvana Heaven Old Age Home, located on Nirvana Drive in Lenasia. This home, which serves as a sanctuary for elderly residents, has been struggling with ongoing infrastructure maintenance challenges for several years.

Despite these challenges, the home provides a warm and loving environment where residents gather to enjoy activities such as playing pool, cards, and socializing over tea and cake. However, as Chairperson of IAHV’s Board, Rakhee Devchand, highlighted, the facility is in urgent need of repair and upkeep to continue offering a comfortable and dignified living space for the elderly.

“We are reaching out to the community to assist us in maintaining this vital home,” said Devchand. “The home is severely neglected and requires substantial attention in terms of infrastructure maintenance."

IAHV is requesting donations, resources, and expertise from individuals and businesses who can help restore and maintain the home’s facilities. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the elderly residents who call Nirvana Heaven their home.

For more information on how to assist, please contact IAHV at 011 886 0762. Your support is invaluable in ensuring that these residents can continue to live in comfort and dignity.
