Old age home treated to a special meal and entertainment

Christmas is a time of togetherness for many, but not everyone has the same opportunities or resources to enjoy the holiday in that way. For some, it can be a difficult time due to financial strain, loneliness, or other challenges. It's important to remember those who may be struggling and find ways to share the spirit of giving, whether through donations, volunteering, or simply reaching out to someone who might be isolated. Even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in someone's holiday experience.

The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) hosting a Christmas celebration at the Nirvana Old Age Home is a meaningful way to bring joy and connection to those who might not have the opportunity to celebrate the holiday in the traditional sense. This will take place on 7 December at 3pm.

“It’s IAHV’s annual Xmas party for the seniors at the Nirvana old age home . The afternoon will be filled with entertainment , games and scrumptious meals . volunteers from all different organisations have come together to assist us in this wonderful seva . We are grateful to so many people who have sponsored various items for the day to ensure its success,” said Rakhee Devchand the event organiser.
