Ma Nkosi has a brand-new house

David Tembe, COJ MMC for Public Safety with Ma Nkosi (87)

COJ Public Safety MMC David Tembe kept his word to make sure that Ma Nkosi, 87-years-old house be fully refurbished with proper windows, beds, kitchen, lounge, television, a vegetable garden and also a fire detector that will assist in an emergency of a fire at any house in her area in Zola

 

Ma Nkosi lives on her own and her home was identified as part of Mandela Day initiative. Tembe along with his sponsors completed the house within two weeks.

 

The opening of the official new home took place on 4th August where Tembe personally handed over the keys to Ma Nkosi and took her for a walk through her new refurbished home.

 

Ma Noksi was overjoyed and left without words when she was informed that she won’t need to worry anymore. Tears of joy fell down her cheeks.
