South Africa’s young Indian talented singer Pritisha M has been nominated for the South African Traditional Music Awards (SATMA) 2022 in the category of Best Indian Artist/Group. Pritish M, 12-years-old is raising the bar much higher and also motivating other young singers to not give up on their music career no matter what their circumstances are.
Pritisha was always inspired by her late grandfather Dharam Sewraj who motivated her to not just dream but make her dreams a reality and she is continuing her journey as a singer. She released her first song Meri Maa, followed Ye Hawaye Remix which is the song nominated for the SATMA 2022 award. Not forgetting Pritisha threw herself into the deep end and sang her very first Zulu song Love Me which was composed by Mercedes Boshego.
“I am honoured to once again be nominated for a SATMA 2022 Award in the category of Best Indian Artist for my song Ye Hawaye Remix and music is my life and I want to contine following my grandfather’s footsteps of being a dedicated, humbled, and passionate singer,” Pritish said.
