They handed out 150 sweet parcels to the children of Ext 6 and putting a smile on the children’s who jumped with excitement and could not stop smiling with appreciation for receiving a small gift.

“Community members of Ext 6 decided to start operation of taking our area back. We started by cleaning up and getting the youngsters involved,” said Brown.

Brown conveys her gratitude to Rohyn Le Roux of Chayil Foundation for donating the easter eggs and thanked her community of Ext 6 who assisted in buying the balance of the sweets to make the packs.

“Covid has really hit the community hard as some parents lost their jobs and are struggling to make ends meet.  The community are pulling together to see they can make a difference, no matter how small. Seeing the little ones happy... is all the thanks we need  We also ensured that they had their masks on  and maintained social distance,” ended Brown.
