SAPS officials thanked MOM for considering their area for a clean-up.

Sherifa Chirwa, MOM member said, “This is just the start of a long term plan to help the community. The clean-up  was a stepping stone to show what can be done by an active citizenry. The aim is to start changing mindsets within the community and to ensure looking  after their environment, starts with them”.

She added, " If we want out of this mess as a country, then it is us who must pull ourselves out , together. It’s starts with something small such as community clean up, and ends with a nation united, standing up for each other. We are the people. We are the true power of the nation,” ended Chirwa.
