The Sizwe Development Centre, located in Lenasia, Ext 9, is making a significant impact by tackling youth unemployment. Established in 2018 by Pastor Shaan Napier, the Centre provides essential skills training in areas such as computer literacy and call centers, aiming to empower young individuals aged 18-35. By offering training in practical skills like communication, financial literacy, and digital tools, the Centre improves employability and helps reduce unemployment's social effects.
The Centre offers several programs such
1. Compulsory Life Skills Workshop– Focused on communication, financial literacy, time management, and emotional intelligence.
2. End User Computer Training– Includes software training, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting.
3. Call Center Training Course– Covers customer service, conflict resolution, and CRM tools.
4. Business Entrepreneurship Course – Includes business planning, digital marketing, and financial management.
The 2025 registration dates are:
- Monday, 6th January 2025 - 9am to 11am
- Tuesday, 7th January 2025 - 9am to 11am
- Wednesday, 8th January 2025 - 9am to 11am
- Thursday, 9th January 2025 - 9am to 11am
