Delhi Gang Rape/Murder

An innocent life can be taken within seconds; another can be shattered in seconds. No one knows what could happen to him or her in seconds. It is sad to see a life be taken by a group of men who gang rape women.
Though the Delhi, India rape case on December 16, 2012, was totally barbaric, uncalled for and inhuman behaviour. The 23-year-old medical student (victim) was gang raped by six men and from those men, there was an 18 – year –old minor that allegedly instigated the rape.
The inhuman behaviour for an Indian is just disgusting knowing they call women ‘Sita or Lakshmi’ of the house. The poor woman fought a battle for days in hospital for her life and passed away two days later in Singapore where she was transferred. The fact these drunken hooligans damaged her internal organs by pulling out her uterus and it is alleged they threw it out of the bus window was just ignorant and psychic.
The victim’s boyfriend helpless in the bus sadly could not save her and both of them were thrown out of the bus like thrash. It is believed no one was prepared to help them while she was laying on the floor, blood dashing out. It is claimed that no one assisted the couple and police only arrived about 20 – 30 minutes later, but as normal it is said police were chatting away before rushing the medical student to the nearest hospital.
As for Asaram Baba saying that the girl was equally responsible for the rape as those six sick men, was so stupid and ignorant for him talking bullshit, showed how ignorant and uneducated he is about sex.
What the hell is he saying, that if she called the rapist brother then they would not rape her? Wait hold it there, rape doesn’t only happen in buses, but it also happens at home. Also saying the girl should have been chanting Goddess Saraswati name, it would not happen.
Though over the weekend (January 5-6, 2013), media reported a 22 – year –old was gang raped and murdered, and a 16 – year – old was set alight after a man’s rape attempt turned futile. She is fighting her life in hospital in UP. What is India becoming? Rape would be hidden under the carpet because many call it culture and social acceptance within their community will not be the same and they would be treated as an outsider. And not all parents who were brought up in an orthodox way would really talk to their children about sex. Also in schools no sex education is taught because like they say what stays in the bedroom should stay there.
If culture, and peoples mind sets would change than maybe a few things would change and such barbaric cases would not take place but there should be proper law enforcement in India. Though many people need to learn to use their heads and follow what the rules are then law and order will be enforced well.
Theses men need to get death penalty, because if they receive life imprisonment, they would be out on parole after years and can do the same to other women. As I have heard that in prison to men rape men due to them not getting sexual relief.
The name of the victim was not revealed till now, as it was to protect the girl when she was alive, and her family. Now that her name is out, her father wishes the new law to be named after his daughter. Which is a great opportunity as this beautiful medical student who lost her life, has opened eyes off many.
