Keketso Mahlakwana Memorial Service

"Children should be seen not hurt. Enough is enough"

Pinkladies organisation for missing children founded and directed by Dessie Rechner, started in 2007, two weeks later after the body of Hercules, Pretoria child's Sheldeon Human body was found, and she was brutally murdered.
She was wearing a pink top and denim skirt. She is the reason why the organisation was started for all children. Pinkladies do all children and adults.  Partners with SAPS and there is no waiting period to open a case.

I, Priya Ranchod a volunteer from the Pinkladies organisation feels sadden by the sudden loss of Keketso 'Keke' Mahlakwana ... working tirelessly on the case from Tuesday (16/05/2017) evening took everything out of me, I'll continue working with saps, crime intelligence and other officers who are handling the case to find the alleged suspects who brutually murdered this beautiful soul.
Working as a volunteer for the Pinkladies for two years now we experience many different cases which include families involved with drugs, rape, other situations but it does not stop us from doing our outmost best to reunite a child with his/her family or a parent with their child.
I will continue serving the community as a volunteer for the Pinkladies and no matter where I am I will keep working and doing my best to put a smile on a parent and child's face. We all come into this world innocently and are here to do God's work. Let's unite as a community to keep up the good work. Big thank you goes to my director Dessie, my coordinators Wendy Skeens and Gale Ficks, Lenasia SAPS Station commander Brig Mashoa, missing person IO W/O ndou, detectives commander Col Thonyoma, Crime Intelligence  Unit Soweto West, K-9 unit, other saps officials from lenasia and province, the community who assisted, school principal Md Naidoo, and all other role players for going the extra mile in assisting in finding Keke. But unforseen circumstances we were not able to reunite a family together.
May his soul rest in peace and his family have the strength to get through this tough time.
