The beautiful Samir and Dipalee Somaiya Date, India’s favourite singer couple performed for the very first time on the doorsteps of South Africa on Saturday night, 7th December 2019 at The Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City to a packed venue. The Ahmed Timol Secondary, based in Azaadville hosted the first international show to raise funds for the school. The friendly couple kept the crowd entertained with Bollywood songs from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and the latest movie songs. The duo has been performing in more than 300 internationals shows in the past three years. Both are well-known singers and award- winning Bollywood playback singers.
