The vigorous course is a two - weekend course called the Pre
Teacher Training Course (PTTC) that is a pre requisite to becoming an Art of
Living faculty.
You evolve and become stronger during the course.
Sugandh from Nagpur, Maharashtra is part of foundation for
the past 14 years and is a Part 1- Happiness Program, YES!+ and Pre Teachers Training
Course Faculty.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is the founder of the foundation, which
was founded in 1981.
The Art of Living Foundation is a Non-Profitable
Organization (NPO) and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that engages in
stress management and service initiatives. The foundation is a global
initiative program currently running in 152 countries and has touched the lives
of 370 million people.
Sugandh has a magnificent creativity, vivacious charm and
spiritual charisma in delivering action-packed and fun-filled workshops for the
youth, all over the world.
This is what Sugandh said during an interview on Eastwave
Radio, “My experience with the Art of Living is that I have really grown
physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, it has shown me the real
meaning of spirituality.”
She said that spirituality has nothing to do with religion
and people confuse religion with spirituality.
“I understand spirituality better now and as Sri Sri Ravi
Shankarji has said beautifully, whatever we do in our day to day life whether
it is getting dress, going to work, we drive, we work, we do it with some spirit
and spirituality is giving attention to the spirit and I love the simplicity of
the Art of Living Foundation,” Sugandh added.

Sugandh very strongly expressed her gratitude on the
beautiful and powerful rhythmic technique called the Sudarshan Kriya that helps
you relax yourself.
Sugandh stated that the first thing you need to do, is learn
to relax mentally and physically. Through the Sudarshan Kriya and pranayama’s,
you flush out negative toxins and emotions. While she added that meditation is
doing nothing. A good 20minute meditation is worth four hours of sleep.
In India the Art of Living of Living Foundation initiated
Volunteer for a Better India (VBI), which is just giving one hour of your time to the nation
and Sugandh inaugurated VBI in her hometown on March 3. The project is saying
‘No to Alcohol’ and helping people who are addicted to alcohol with welcoming
local doctors and rehab centers to join the initiative.
Africa has initiated Volunteer for a Better South Africa (VBSA),
inviting people from all strata of life to come forward and give one hour to
the nation. The theme for South Africa Africa is ‘Protection of Women’. It is for the
health, wealth, prosperity and harmony of the nation.
“What I have heard and seen is that a rape in Africa takes
place every 46seconds. It is taking responsibility of how I can contribute to helping
my country/society,” Sugandh expressed her feelings.
She added that if everyone comes together and give their
time maybe once or twice a week for a few hours and do something for their
country it would be good.

A strong point outlined by Sugandh is that only the youth
can help create a violence free society and can only be done when youth take
the initiative in respecting women and saying no to violence and raising the
human values up. “Youth should start
respecting women and taking responsibility a lot can be changed. We will be
soon running free workshop for women and children where it will help them in
self-defense that would help protect themselves. Having counsellors. Also have
some councilors, doctors and lawyers to help the rape victims.” She ended.
Sugandh blissfully said everyone should meditate and stay
happy.
